Moore Art Gallery features artwork by Charles MacGregor in Victoria, BC. MacGregor transforms everyday objects such as newspapers, jeans, leather garments and blades into artistic expression - drawing from their past and attempting to evoke a unique response from the viewer.
The Moore Art Gallery came to Geeks on the Beach in search of a website to showcase MacGregor’s artwork and allow potential clients to arrange viewings and inquire about specific items.
Our design team carefully crafted the website concept around showcasing MacGregor's artwork and his approach to the malleable, distinct nature of the materials and their accompanying shapes. Pairing clean open spaces, and fine lines with elegant yet bold font choices, the website design accentuates the essence and texture of MacGregor's artwork within vertical and horizontal parallax windows.
